Lot 1 – 337.79 Hectares / 832.72 Acres – Offers Over £3,650,000
Lot 1 comprises the main forest, it was originally planted between 1966 and 1989. Planned harvesting and restocking had been carried out up until 2020. The second rotation crops are performing well with some areas showing yield classes in the high 20s, highlighting the favourable growing conditions. The forest was affected by Storm Arwen and subsequent storms in 2021, some 99.13 hectares have since been cleared and now require restocking. 38.48 hectares of mature conifer crops remain and could be harvested in the near future.
Lot 2 – 22.19 Hectares / 54.83 Acres – Offers Over £300,000
Located just to the south of Lot 1, Lot 2 was harvested and restocked in 2013. It comprises Sitka spruce which has been planted in mixture with Lodgepole pine. Natural regeneration across Compartment 6 has infilled almost all designed open ground with Sitka spruce/Lodgepole pine since planting.
