Strathellen Wood is located south of Plockton Village. Plockton is a picturesque village located on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, in the Lochalsh, Wester Ross region. Strathellen is a delightful mixed woodland containing some commercial timber and mature broadleaves. It has been unmanaged and virtually untouched for many decades leaving the area rich in biodiversity and wildlife. The broadleaves comprise semi ancient Atlantic oaks, silver birch, sycamore, rowan and hazel.
